Assists the Bartender in providing the finest food, drink and customer service. Provides supportive and team oriented back-up work that ensures timely service from the bar. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensures excellent customer service for every guest, every time. Oversees and maintains all bar stock supplies at levels required. Stocks ice and all beverage department related supplies to all departments in the casino. Removes the trash from all F&B outlets. Supports the bartender with food orders and deliveries to the bar area. Presets, cleans and organizes the areas designated. Transports dishware to the maintenance and dish prep areas. Responsible for end of month inventory. Assists Bartenders with the provision of service in non cash taking situation/service bars. Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards. Ensures that designated work areas, flatware, glasses, dinnerware and other used to serve customers are free from hazards (i.e. chips, breaks, cracks, liquid on floor, etc.). Responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Credit Card Compliance requirements commonly known as PCI (Payment Card Industry) Compliance by attending training provided by Casino Arizona, at least once a year or more if required by management. Signature verification of course attendance will be required. Responsible for following the PCI (Payment Card Industry) Compliance regulations to protect card holder data and adhere to the standards to protect guests private card information. This includes, but is not limited to, observing and reporting inappropriate card handling activity, of either customers or by employees, as defined by PCI. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); must be, at least, 19 years old: previous F&B work related experience preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must have a valid Maricopa County Food Handlers card. Other Qualifications Must have ability to work in a busy, high volume environment and maintain a positive customer service attitude. Must be a team player and present a well-groomed appearance. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
