Employment Standards. Knowledge of: - Clinical psychology; philosophy of community mental health - Federal, State and local regulations relating to mental health - Etiology of human dysfunction from biological, sociological and psychological frames of reference, research and statistical methods. Ability to: - Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others - Effectively evaluate and treat clients - Offer consultation to community agencies - Evaluate programs - Write professional reports. This recruitment may be used to fill future permanent, substitute, limited term, and temporary positions, both full-time and part-time. The Ideal Candidate Education and Experience. A combination of education, training, and experience resulting in the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of qualifying education and experience includes:Must have at least two years of experience in a mental health setting. Licenses and Certificates. Must have obtained a California license as a psychologist, granted by the California State Board of Psychology. Certain positions within this classification may require driving. When driving is an essential function of the position, a valid CALIFORNIA driver's license will be required at the time of appointment.
