Position Description: Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment. Forklift operation experience strongly preferred. Flexible to work assigned shifts after the training period. Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing materials from trucks and loading docks. Move materials accurately to and from storage areas, loading docks, and the production floor. Perform routine daily safety checks on forklifts and material handling equipment. Track inventory movements and report any discrepancies or damaged goods immediately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, removing scrap and debris as needed. Participate in continuous improvement and safety activities. Other warehouse duties as assigned. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must have solid general warehouse and material handling skills. Forklift experience is highly preferred and will put you at the top of the list. Ability to safely lift, move, and organize materials consistently throughout the shift. Language skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
