Requirements / Qualifications California Specialist Credential in Special Education—Resource or Education Specialist Instruction Credential—Mild/ Moderate with CTC required authorizations; English Learners Authorization required. We award UNLIMITED years of previous teaching experience for placement on the salary schedule. Qualifies for District’s portion of health benefits for self and eligible dependents. DESIRABLE: Experience working with students with special needs (behavioral, emotional, autism, and/or physical needs) is desired. Knowledge of ASL and life skills curriculum experience is helpful.
