Be part of something new! Healthy Living is opening a new store in Clifton Park and is looking for a Center Store Manager to help build the foundation for a successful operation. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in launching a brand-new store and creating an exceptional guest experience from day one. The Center Store Manager will oversee all functions of the Grocery, Refrigerated, Frozen, Wellness, Beer, and Wine departments, leading department staff and managing daily operations, merchandising, inventory levels, product quality, and department performance. This role is responsible for replenishment buying and inventory management, utilizing HL software, ordering systems, cycle counts, and data reports to support sales goals and budget expectations. The Center Store Manager leads by example, providing genuine and compassionate "extra mile" service to guests while fostering a positive, high-performing team culture. Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills are essential. Flexible scheduling is a must! Job Type: Center Store Manager Schedule: Full-time position, 40 hours/week including flexible availability Pay Rate: Starting at $26-$28.07/hour. Previous experience will be taken into consideration. Requirements At least 2 years of management/progressive supervisory experience At least 2 years working in a professional retail environment; preferably in the grocery or natural foods industry Previous experience working with local products is preferred Previous buying, inventory management or equivalent experience. Key Areas of Responsibility Oversee and maintain accountability for the day-to-day operations of the store, promoting an organized, efficient, and smoothly run environment. Support a stable, profitable, and growing business through effective operational leadership and decision-making. Monitor store performance and operations across multiple departments, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth. Promote and empower continuous quality improvement initiatives throughout all departments. Partner with Department Assistant Managers to maintain appropriate inventory levels, product assortment, and merchandising standards that support organizational goals. Foster an exceptional guest experience by promoting Healthy Living's culture and maintaining a positive, comfortable, and welcoming store atmosphere. Support, coach, and develop team members while encouraging collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
