Completes shipments by processing and loading orders - Responsible for moving, stocking, receiving, and packing outbound warehouse merchandise - Assists in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts - Operates warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks - Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations - Refers the most complex issues to higher-level staff/supervisor - At higher job levels, possesses comprehensive or advanced knowledge of subject matter - May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group The job functions listed are not exhaustive and may include additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time. Expertise: Knowledge & Skills - Applies entry-level working knowledge of a technical field/area of specialization; exercises general application of principles, theories, and concepts and proposes a course of action; performs entry-level shop floor competencies - Works under direct supervision and from detailed verbal and/or written instructions; uses established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks - May require limited judgment in resolving problems - Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers; occasional contact with external contractors/vendors The targeted range for this role takes into account factors used in compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. Expertise: Qualifications – Experience/ Training/ Education, etc. Required: - High school diploma/ GED - 6 months of related experience OR PBS requirements completed and assessment passed at the appropriate level Preferred: - Applicable industry/professional certification While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently uses hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
