1.) Keep/maintain targeted flow of monthly machine culture/endotoxin sendoff 2.) Follow up with samples reported out of range-recollection follow up 3.) Maintain sample results within Excel file 4.) Key point person for D&D lab follow up if needed 5.) Maintain communication/throughput with biomed related to Machine repairs and delays 6.) Present, via TEAMS, machine culture/endotoxin results during bimonthly Dialysis quality meeting 7.) Provide monthly review/audit of all machine log sheets with report out (missing data or instances of noncompliance with established departmental policy and procedures. 8.) Assist with orientation of new staff 9.) Conduct annual and as needed competency training of all technical team members 10.)Basic Functional understanding of Microsoft applications 11.)maintain. CCHT or equivalent certification required 12.) Maintain inventory of specialty dialysis supplies via e. PRO procurement system 13.) Maintain monthly QI metrics for dialysis technical team compliance. High school diploma or equivalent. Associate or baccalaureate degree preferred. Ability to work with technical equipment and learn through on-the-job training the function and monitoring of equipment used for dialysis and water treatment. Minimum of 4 years dialysis technician experience required. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:Dialysis Technician certification required. Patient Care Technician certification preferred. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire. Maryland employees only: Maryland CNA-DT, Certified Nursing Assistant Dialysis Tech, license required through the Maryland Board of Nursing.
