Legal Assistant, Orlando. A well-respected law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join its team in Orlando, Florida. Essential Functions. Experience working in a mid to large-size law firm environment and collaborating across departments (case opening, conflicts checks, billing, records, etc.)Draft and proofread correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents. Track firm, attorney, and client expenses and process reimbursements and payments. Support the client billing process, including:Entering narratives. Tracking billable tasks. Editing pre-bills. Managing billing calendars and deadlines. Delivering invoices (electronic and paper)Schedule client appointments and coordinate calendars with attorneys. Assist with planning and coordination of attorney business development events. Manage electronic and paper case files. Handle incoming/outgoing mail and communications. Answer, screen, and direct phone calls and emails. Consistently deliver high-quality client service. Education and Experience 3-5 years of law firm experience required. Experience supporting multiple attorneys. Corporate and/or Real Estate experience preferred. Physical Demands. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
