ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Central point of contact for Deputy Commissioner. - Ensure daily communication including manage phone, coordinate calendar, schedule meetings. - Position will be responsible for providing administrative support and managing assigned tasks and special projects/initiatives associated with the program administration of DFSS Children’s Services and other divisional programs. - Provides technical assistance and support to staff and contracted agencies, and other program partners for DFSS Children’s Services and other assigned programs and services. Convenes, coordinates, and facilitates meetings and other communications with contracted agencies and other partners, as needed to resolve operational issues, share best practices, and improve program performance. - Reviews and compiles program reports, including monthly reports from staff, contracted agencies, identifying trends, informing program operations, and ensuring accuracy of data. - Maintains centers’ property inventories. - Creates program promotion flyers, documents and brochures. - Follows-up on work order requests from the children’s services division and escalates critical issues. - Assists with Citywide Special Events and Activities - Performs other duties and fulfills additional responsibilities as needed.
