WRITTEN EXAMINATION: The written examination portion of the test may have multiple steps, which may be administered on different days (50% of total score). ORAL EXAMINATION: The oral examination portion of the test may have multiple steps, which may be administered on different days (50% of total score). PARTICIPATION IN ALL PORTIONS OF THE EXAMINATION PROCESS IS BY OFFICIAL INVITATION ONLY. Candidates who do not participate and successfully pass all parts of the examination process will not be considered for the position. POSITION DETAILS AND DUTIES:FULL-TIME POSITION: EIGHT (8) HOURS PER DAY; TWELVE (12) MONTHS PER YEAR. BASIC FUNCTION: The job of Special Education Technician is done for the purpose/s of coordinating and monitoring of special education processes and systems, including student database, working with principals and special education staffs; providing information related to the special education processes and procedures regarding the implementation of the IEP provision and special education compliance. Initial/ Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Graduation from High School OR General Education Development (GED) equivalent. Two (2) years of job-related experience. Any other combination of education, training, and experience, which demonstrates that the applicant is likely to possess the required skills, knowledge, or abilities, may be considered.
