A. Under the supervision of a certified teacher, prepares for classroom activities. B. Works with small groups of students to reinforce materials initially introduced by the teacher. C. Assists individual students in need of special attention. D. Guides independent study, enrichment work, and remedial work set up by the teacher. E. Sets up and/or operates audiovisual equipment. F. Assists teacher with non-instructional classroom duties, such as snack, toilet, and clothing routines. G. Checks notebooks, corrects papers, and supervises testing and make-up work. H. Assists in duties relating to the supervision of the study hall, cafeteria, and bus loading areas as assigned by the principal. I. Assists in preparing class displays and bulletin boards. J. Helps construct supplementary materials for use in classroom. K. Strives to improve and maintain job skills through in-service training programs and other means. L. Maintains high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality. M. Has regular and predictable attendance. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:A. Performs all other duties as assigned. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:This is a limited full-time position scheduled for 28.75 hours per week during the school year. Wages will be in accordance with the Classified Salary Schedule as a Grade 5 - $16.39 or $17.19 (with a bachelors degree or 5 years relevant experience) per hour. This is an at will position
