Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Title: PM Full-Time Courier/ CDL DOT - Location: OLVA Station – Memphis, TN - Department: PM Operations. Shift: Monday–Saturday, 2:30 PM – 11:45 PM off day will be Sun and a Day through the week. Commitment: 18-Month Minimum in Department. Position Summary:We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a PM Full-Time Courier. This role is vital to ensuring timely and secure delivery of packages during evening operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, efficiency, and a strong commitment to service excellence. Key Responsibilities:Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups using company systems. Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner. Adhere to all safety, security, and operational procedures. Communicate effectively with dispatch and station personnel to ensure timely service. Qualifications:Must commit to an 18-month term in the department. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs without assistance. Strong time management and organizational skills. Requirement:This position may require obtaining a CDL Class B license. Subject to operational needs. You do not need to have the license at the time of hire. Sufficient time will be provided to obtain the license at management’s discretion. Additional Information:Full-time position with consistent PM shift hours. Uniform and training provided. Advancement opportunities may be available upon successful completion of the commitment period. Minimum Education. High school diploma/ GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
