Minimum Required Qualifications. Education:- High School Diploma- 18 years of age or older. Licensure:- Valid State drivers license- Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/ Security licensure as required (within 90 days of hire)Certification/ Registration:Complete Basic 16 hr Public Safety/ Security course within 90 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure) Officers in areas where there isn’t a licensing body, Completed IAHSS Basic. Other Skills and Knowledge:Ability to read and write the English language. Preferred Qualifications. Licensure:Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/ Security licensure as required.
