This role sits within a Finance Transformation team focused on modernizing how the organization understands and manages technology costs. Beyond traditional FP&A, this position is oriented toward building new capabilities — designing frameworks, driving adoption of new processes and tools, and partnering across Finance and Technology to enable better enterprise decision-making. In addition to the core duties above, this role will: - Support the design and implementation of cost allocation and financial transparency frameworks - Act as a change agent — driving stakeholder adoption of new tools, processes, and governance models across the organization - Develop executive-ready deliverables that translate complex initiatives into clear, decision-oriented narratives - Coordinate across cross-functional workstreams and external partners to support program delivery and milestone tracking - Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, and modern tooling to improve Finance workflows. The ideal candidate is a structured thinker with a transformation mindset — someone comfortable with ambiguity who sees Finance as a strategic enabler of enterprise decision-making. LOCATION: - - Truist in-office requirement is 5 days per week - - Please note: candidate must be located in the following location:Charlotte, NC - No remote or telecommute option. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Serve as a strategic business consultant to supported lines of business .. Lead performance evaluations and prepare executive-level financial insights .. Own development of short- and long-term forecasts and the annual financial plan .. Provide financial guidance for new product development, pricing, and investment opportunities .. Mentor analysts and ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy .. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives .. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls. QUALIFICATIONS - Required Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and related training .. Eight years of relevant accounting or finance experience that includes complex financial analysis .. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Proactive in completing tasks and producing deliverables .. Sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes. Ability to build consensus through communication and presentation of factual and relevant information .. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interpret and communicate financial analysis to business partners in a concise and useful manner .. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .. Sound and logical decision-making abilities .. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work well with others in a dynamic, team-oriented environment .. Familiarity with GAAP. High proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other basic software products. Financial Modeling experience. Preferred Qualifications:1. Supervisory experience 2. Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, or Chartered Financial Analyst 3. Master's degree of MBA 4. Specific financial services or specialized industry experience .. Proficient in Essbase/ Hyperion, EPM/ BPC, or other enterprise accounting software .. Experience with macros/ VBA.
