Welder Helper - 3rd shift Location: Hockley, TX, US - Compensation: $16.00 – $19.00 Hourly. Schedule: (Monday – Friday, 4:30 pm-3:30 am) 8 to 10-hour shifts, with occasional overtime and weekends as needed. We are looking for a reliable and adaptable Welder/ Helper to join our night shift team. In this role, you will support daily business operations and fabrication processes by carrying out tasks assigned by the Department Supervisor. This is a dynamic position where you may float between different departments as production needs shift. If you are focused, safety-conscious, and ready to put in the work, we want you on our team. What You’ll Do. Perform daily fabrication and shop duties exactly as instructed by your supervisor. Float between various departments to help maintain smooth business operations and keep production on track. Strictly adhere to all company safety guidelines, dress codes, and attendance policies. What You Bring. Ability to maintain high concentration for extended periods while handling repetitive or detailed tasks. Ability to clearly exchange information and follow both written and verbal instructions. Spanish-speaking is preferred, but not required. Willingness to work overtime and weekends when production demands require it. (Bonus provided if accommodated) Work Environment & Physical Demands Ability to work outdoors, including exposure to current weather conditions and moderate manufacturing noise. Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods, walk, crouch, kneel, balance, climb stairs, and reach. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 35 pounds. Knowing how to operate an overhead crane Good digital dexterity to accurately manipulate small parts. Visual competency to read written work instructions and hearing capability to receive verbal instructions on a busy shop floor.
