Supports the design, development, test, and maintenance of software solutions throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meet industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards. Assists in the review, analysis, and translation of customer requirements into initial design of software products. Collaborates in the development, maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of software functionalities for system integrations. Contributes to the development, documentation, and maintenance of architectures, requirements, and designs for software products. Participates in debugging and resolution of issues to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products. Researches and implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software development. Supports the development, establishment, monitoring, and improvement of software processes, tools, and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks. Assists in the execution and documentation of software research and development projects. Collaborates with team members and stakeholders on software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):Bachelor Degree. Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Proficiency with C/ C Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/ Experience):Level 1: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science or related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of directly related work experience OR 8 years of related, relevant experience Knowledge and skills in Python. Experience in using the Qt cross-platform application development framework for creating graphical user interfaces. Ability to work in both a Windows and Linux environment. Experience with Jira work tracking. Experience with Git. Code. Vue Coding Challenge: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process.
