As a Machine Operator, you will support plastics manufacturing operations by handling materials, operating production equipment, and completing work in accordance with safety and quality standards. You will work with production team members, leads, and operations partners to meet daily output and schedule commitments. Your work helps maintain efficient production flow and consistent product quality across the site. What you will do: Operate plastics machine equipment and follow established work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards during each shift. Load, unload, sort, stage, and move raw materials, components, and finished goods through the production process. Inspect in-process and completed plastic parts for quality, dimensions, defects, and conformance to specifications. Monitor equipment operation, identify basic process or equipment issues, and report concerns. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow site procedures for material handling, storage, and disposal. Support daily production goals by meeting assigned productivity targets and adjusting to changing manufacturing priorities as needed. Experience you’ll need to have:High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience. Ability to use basic computer systems to enter, review, or track production or quality information. Experience that would be great to have:1 year of experience operating production machinery and performing routine maintenance. Experience with warehouse staging and inventory systems (e.g., handheld barcode scanners, basic WMS). Completed safety training such as OSHA-10 or equivalent and demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures. How you’ll work:You will work an assigned schedule of: Rotating 1st shift 7 a-7 p / 3rd shift Mon-Fri 12 a-8 a. Eligible to earn shift differential pay when working second shift, third shift, or weekend day schedules. This role requires flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays. This role requires frequent moving and/or carrying of materials weighing up to 50 pounds. This role requires the ability to stand for a majority of the shift; safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; lift above your shoulders; and climb, squat, kneel, twist, push, and bend frequently during each shift. Sponsorship:You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont or Washington.
