As a Multi-store Retail Director, you’ll oversee two to six Best Buy stores, working with general managers and store employees to create excellent customer experiences and deliver strong financial results. Internally, these groups of stores are known as micro-markets. In this role, you’ll serve an area that drives high customer traffic. You’ll identify problems unique to each location and provide appropriate solutions. To thrive in this role, you must adapt to challenges while remaining calm in a constantly changing environment. What you’ll do. Lead and manage a retail workforce across multiple locations, motivating the team to achieve their career goals while creating excellent customer experiences. Provide strong leadership to ensure successful execution of strategy and profitable performance. Divide your time across your micro-market to support all business areas, including store, online and in-home. Recruit, hire and retain a workforce where each employee feels valued, safe and included. Develop strategies and communicate your vision to direct reports in an actionable and digestible way. Basic qualifications 5 years of experience as a supervisor/manager in business, military or related fields 3 years of experience managing and reviewing operational expenses and revenue. Preferred qualifications. Prior experience in retail leadership, consumer electronic or related fields. Prior experience in multi-unit business operations. What’s in it for you.
