What You'll Do: As a Meat Clerk at Festival Foods, your responsibilities will include: Deliver Helpful Service: Provide exceptional guest service at the meat counter and on the sales floor, including fulfilling special orders and answering product questions. Maintain fresh, well-stocked displays by inspecting, rotating, and replenishing meat products and supplies. Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences. Collaborate with the Team: Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For: To succeed as a Festival Foods Meat Clerk, you should have: Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively engage with guests, leaders, and retail sales associates. Utilize strong written and verbal skills to work with a crew in a fast-paced environment. Food Safety: A willingness to learn food safety standards, proper equipment usage (like slicers), and inventory practices. Ability to Multitask and stay customer service focused in a busy retail grocery environment. Safety Mindset: An understanding of safety and food safety practices and a commitment to following them. This role requires proper training and knowledge of equipment and procedures, including: slicers, proper lifting techniques, trash compactor, baler, etc. Physical Demands and Work Environment. This is a part-time or full-time position with varying shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
