Create, review, and maintain equipment-specific LOTO procedures for all machinery - Develop and implement comprehensive, project-specific safety plans based on risk assessments. - Lead investigations into accidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions. - Enforce safety protocols and site-specific rules. - Assist in emergency response (fire alarms, evacuations, medical incidents). - Support staff and visitors with safety-related concerns or directions. - Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. - Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring workplace safety programs and policies. - Conduct safety inspections and audits of equipment, facilities, and processes. - Maintain safety related records and forms. - Collaborate with supervisors to identify hazards and recommend improvements. - Stay current on safety policies and procedures through ongoing training. - Supervise and mentor junior safety technicians Requirements: - High School Diploma - 2 years of experience in Manufacturing - Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in using Excel and PowerPoint presentations Preferred: - 2-4 years of Safety Manufacturing Experience - Experience involving NFPA, IFC, NIOSH, ANSI, CGC regulations - Bilingual : Korean or Spanish.
