About the Role. As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you help keep the plant running safely, smoothly, and efficiently. You’ll work hands-on with electrical, mechanical, and general building systems while supporting daily operations and responding to maintenance needs across the facility. This role is a great fit if you enjoy problem-solving, working with tools, and taking ownership of equipment reliability. You’ll play an important part in maintaining a safe work environment and supporting the overall success of the operation. Responsibilities:Performs maintenance and repair on electrical, mechanical, and building systems. Follows all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and safe work practices. Applies knowledge of lockout/tagout and other safety protocols. Operates forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment safely. Reads and interprets diagrams, prints, and work instructions. Uses basic computer systems to complete work orders and documentation. Maintains tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition. Works collaboratively with maintenance and production teams. Attends required meetings and training sessions. Performs additional duties as assigned by maintenance leadership. Qualifications:Demonstrates mechanical and electrical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills. Able to read and interpret diagrams, prints, and technical instructions. Possesses basic math, communication, and computer skills. Holds a valid driver’s license. Positive attitude, dependable work habits, and ability to work independently. Provides personal basic hand tools. Experience with pneumatics, plumbing, HVAC, or forklift operation is a plus. Physical Requirements:Able to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout a 12-hour shift. Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and climb ladders. Comfortable working around oils, grease, solvents, and high-noise environments. Able to wear all required PPE. Has good manual dexterity and the ability to distinguish colors. Additional Information:Compensation: $29.75/hour shift differential Work Schedule: 7:00 pm–7:00 am following a 2-2-3 schedule (every other weekend off!)Additional Highlights:Opportunities for skill development and advancement.
