Process seed pellets within product specifications to provide customer the consistency they expect. - Observe and evaluate product quality at multiple stages to provide highest quality - Mix formulations based on recipes to ensure consistent product - Operate both large and small machinery. Troubleshoot to maintain equipment efficiency. - Work with the overall team to deliver best-in-class service. - Perform all other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization’s values. - Adhere to all quality control measures and watch for signs of tampering and contamination. - Participate in continuous improvement exercises and adapt to changing needs and requirements. Requirements High school diploma/ GED 1 or more years of experience working with seed or in a greenhouse preferred but not required. Basic math and computer skills, ability to enter and maintain records in computer system. Excellent verbal and written English skills in order to communicate with internal customers, bilingual capabilities a plus. MS Office experience preferred. Problem solving, attention to detail, organizational skills, teamwork, adaptability, and flexibility to work in multiple areas performing multiple tasks. Work directly with other employees inside and outside the department on shared objectives. Hourly Pay Range: $17-$19 Hours: 6:00 am-2:30 pmsubject to change based on seasonal requirements Physical Requirements Ability to Push/ Pull up to 50 lbs. up to 10% of the day. Ability to Sit/ Stand up to 100% of the day. Ability to Kneel/ Bend up to 20% of the day. Ability to Reach Above Shoulder Level up to 15% of the day. Ability to Climb/ Balance up to 10% of the day.
