ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS During the school year, QUEST Program Coordinators must be available to work 6 am-9 am and 2 pm-6 pm, Monday through Friday according to the Catawba County Schools calendar. Summer QUEST work hours vary and will be between 6 am-6 pm, Monday - Friday. QUEST Program Coordinators may be instructed to work at various sites to meet the needs of our program. Hours are determined by the QUEST Program Services Director based on enrollment. Maintain proper supervision of students at all times in accordance with Section .1800 of the NC Child Care Regulations and the QUEST/ Catawba County Schools Student Code of Conduct discipline policies. Provide appropriate discipline when needed and in accordance with Section .1800 of the NC Child Care Regulations and the QUEST/ Catawba County Schools Student Code of Conduct discipline policies. Oversight and supervision of QUEST Staff per licensing and sanitation regulations. Oversight and supervision of staff compliance with attendance procedures per licensing regulations. Oversight and supervision of QUEST Staffs' planned program activities as required for licensing. Responsible for appropriate interaction with and safety of all students at all times. Maintains QUEST site to be in compliance with all licensing requirements at all times. Maintain staff/child ratios in compliance with all licensing requirements at all times. Handle discipline problems according to the QUEST/ Catawba County Schools Student Code of Conduct discipline policies. Data entry and maintenance of software database to include child and family data, accounting data, and other information as assigned by the QUEST Central Office Staff. Compliance with meal/snack service per Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) duties and associated sanitation tasks. Oversight and supervision of staff compliance with meal/snack service per Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) regulations. Keeps current attendance, snack menus, activity plans, emergency contact numbers and other required documents posted for parent and public review at all times as required by licensure. Plan monthly age appropriate activities/lesson plans during the school year. Plan and schedule age appropriate activities/field trips for Summer. Organize and maintain activity areas, materials and supplies, and equipment needed for daily activities. Keep the QUEST Central Office Staff advised of equipment and materials that need to be replaced or repaired. Maintain a clean program area, which includes sweeping, mopping and sanitizing floors, tables and bathrooms; maintaining proper use and storage of school/ QUEST. Attends Program Coordinator's monthly meeting, individual monthly conferences or other called meetings by the QUEST Central Office Staff. Other duties as assigned by the QUEST Central Office Staff.
