Seeking a creative, forward-thinking, process-minded effective communicator to join our team. The HR Manager will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and a wide range of HR support to our team members across numerous locations including but not limited to: Manage all phases of talent acquisition; Manage all aspects of employee relations at a site level, such as investigations, appeals, adverse actions, worker’s compensation, conflict resolution and change management; Manage all compliance requirements at a site level such as change of status administration, verification of employment, standardization efforts and HR related audits; Coordinate and manage all aspects of payroll administration at a site level and with NTSSC; Support pre-employment, onboarding and offboarding requirements; Manage and deliver on core training requirements such as Nu. Foundations, Mental Health First Aid, Privileged Social Media, etc.; Stakeholder management from an HR perspective at a site level and within the community, including various company sponsored programs at a site level. This position will be in Hazleton, PA but may require travel to other production facilities on an as-needed basis. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required from an accredited University. At least five years of human resources experience. Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations in the US. SAP payroll, MS Office, and HR related systems experience. Commitment to safety; actively involved in safety initiatives. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience using/knowledge of SuccessFactors and/or Beamery. Prior experience using NOV - Atime and/or payroll software. Prior experience with Power BI and/or Tableau. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations talent systems and understand, interpret, and report analytics. Benefits Administration Experience.
