Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Mon 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM - Tue 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, common areas, and/or restricted areas while assisting with access-related procedures, visitor direction, and general support within the location. Support Allied Universal and site personnel during medical-related incidents, evacuations, and/or other emergency situations by following post instructions and established response protocols. Minimum Requirements:At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Required hospital vaccinations must be obtained. Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment. At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
