Involves patient and significant others in the care activities as a means of informing and teaching. Administers medications according to hospital policy. Effectively and efficiently receives/interprets telephone/verbal orders and documents appropriately. Demonstrates knowledge and ability to use necessary patient equipment. Demonstrates ability to react calmly and effectively in an emergency situation. Demonstrates ability to work autonomously & independently. Qualifications: CRT:License – State of Oklahoma as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Certification by NBRC as CRT required and maintained. Graduate of Respiratory Care Program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (Co. ARC) or equivalent education required . year experience required-post graduation. BLS Healthcare required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS required within 120 days of hire. Certifications must remain current during length of employment. RRT:License – State of Oklahoma as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Certification by NBRC as RRT required & maintained. Graduate of Respiratory Care Program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (Co. ARC) or equivalent education required. Associate Degree of Applied Science as Respiratory Therapist or equivalent required. One year experience required – post graduation. BLS Healthcare required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS required within 120 days of hire. Certifications must remain current during length of employment.
