The Account Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining long-term relationships with select managed vision care plan accounts to drive profitable growth for Essilor. Luxottica. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Be the primary point of contact for Essilor. Luxottica with select accounts. Act as a bridge between assigned accounts and other EL entities Ensure the collective strategies and activities of all EL entities are coordinated and aligned within assigned accounts. Act as a trusted and value-added resource to assigned accounts Identify and propose unique and meaningful solutions to meet these customer needs and requirements leveraging the products and services of all EL entities and partners. Establish financial & performance objectives by assigned account and the account portfolio Develop annual growth plans for accounts, routinely updating these plans based on knowledge of emerging customer needs, changing industry trends and advances in EL offerings. Work closely with EL’s cross-functional teams on pricing, forecasting, supply chain, formulary strategies, and field sales team activation. Conduct & deliver monthly performance analysis, reporting key trends, risks & emerging opportunities. Assist EL team members and leadership to better understand positioning of customer and opportunities. Provide industry learning & market intelligence to internal stakeholders, enabling EL to develop comprehensive & sound market strategies around managed vision care and healthcare integration. Partner with account stakeholders at all levels to position EL products for ideal formulary placement, reinforcing product technology and optimizing patient access and reimbursement. Partner with select accounts to develop & implement innovative member benefits that are mutually beneficial and market expanding. Lead customer negotiations. Execute all aspects of vendor meetings and trade shows. Maintain broad knowledge of EL products, services and capabilities including the strengths and weaknesses of competitive products and services. Participate in and support other strategic initiatives as assigned BASIC QUALIFICATION Bachelor’s degree required 5 -7 years Account Management experience Experience with budgeting, forecasting, annual planning, and monthly reporting Proven success working and succeeding in matrix organizations Proven understanding of the project management process and time management skills Highly developed and effective verbal and written communication skills Excellent presentation skills to both internal and external stake holders, including meeting facilitation PC Proficiency required - Microsoft Office Suites - Word, Excel, PowerPoint Travel required up to 50% during peaks PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in optical or healthcare industry Experience with Managed Vision Care Account management experience in healthcare Experience responding to RFPs and contract negotiation This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business.
