Typical working hours will be 6 PM-6 AM (2-2-3 schedule). This position is 100% on-site in Winchester, Kentucky. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining all process and utility equipment as well as building infrastructure related to manufacturing. The Maintenance Mechanic plays a key role in minimizing downtime by performing preventive maintenance, adhering to GMP standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The RoleSupport the installation, qualification and operation of new device assembly and fill processing suites and equipment. Assist in generation of new PM procedures, spare parts lists and enter spares into spares management database. Perform systematic preventive maintenance that incorporates industry best practices. Provide quick, effective repairs as needed. Communicate closely with Maintenance Leader and Operations Leader to ensure repair or PM status is understood. Utilize electronic work order database and calibration database to document work performed. Other duties as required in support of Catalent Pharma Solutions high performance. The Candidate. HS Diploma/ GED Required. Prefer an Associate's Degree or vocational certificate in related field . years experience in a pharmaceutical, food, or chemical manufacturing environment in a maintenance technician position required. Experience with electronic work order, preventative maintenance and spare parts program for production, utility and building systems required. Ability to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and electronic control systems and PLC based systems utilizing equipment schematics and specialized testing equipment. Familiar with use and operation of test equipment such as digital voltmeter, temperature probes, and pneumatic calibrators . Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, and bend for an extended period of time. Specific vision requirements to inspect equipment and machinery. Why You Should Join Catalent.
