Include: Managing general litigation and product liability matters from inception through resolution, independently and with supervision as appropriate. Conducting file review and legal analysis of claims, defenses, and causes of action. Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and other litigation-related filings. Handling depositions, court appearances, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation. Participating in trial preparation and attending trial proceedings, as necessary. Conducting legal research and providing strategic legal advice to clients. Retaining and working with expert witnesses. Negotiating settlements and handling alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Maintaining strong client relationships through responsiveness and adherence to client guidelines. Collaborating with senior attorneys and legal support staff. Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with court and procedural requirements. Required Skills/ Qualifications: Admission to practice in the State of New York is required (Admission to practice in New Jersey, Connecticut, and/or Pennsylvania is a plus). 3-8 years of experience handling general litigation and product liability matters. Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills, with a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free work. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members. Federal Court experience is a plus.
