Assist with the setup and installation of PCs, tablets, POS systems, peripherals, network devices, cabling, access pints, VOIP phones and other hardware. Perform routine upgrades and PC maintenance, including proactive testing of equipment to ensure it is in working order; update work logs to reflect an accurate record of all testing, repairs and maintenance conducted. Work directly with users to provide basic training for troubleshooting and resolving common issues; repairs hardware\/software issues in a timely manner. Assist with the development and maintenance of IT documentation, i.e. equipment inventory and location, software versions and licenses. Monitor and evaluate network performance; troubleshoot and report network issues to the IT Manager. Act as a problem solver and leader in emergency situations; effectively respond to all issues with courtesy and an appropriate sense of urgency. EDUCATION and\/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Some formal education or professional training preferred but not required with experience; 2-3 years of related experience maintaining computer hardware and equipment. Demonstrated working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory and Office 365 in an enterprise network environment. Basic knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Network server applications and Cisco Meraki switches and firewalls. Wired and wireless gigabit network preferred. Superior attention to detail and organization skills. SCHEDULING 40 hours\/week. During operational periods, Gunstock is open 7 days\/week with weekends being our busiest times. While we offer alternative flexible scheduling, this position does require weekend and holiday availability (excluding Thanksgiving).
